Exclusive Interview with Rising Star Cicely Giordano: The Defender Taking the League by Storm

Reporter: Thank you for sitting down with us, Cicely. Can you tell us how it feels to be making such a big impact in the league at such a young age?
Cicely Giordano: It's been an incredible journey so far, definitely a dream come true. I've been working really hard to improve my skills and I'm grateful for the opportunities I've been given to showcase my talent on the pitch.
Reporter: Your recent form has been exceptional, despite not having played any matches this season. How have you managed to stay in such top shape?
Cicely Giordano: I believe in always staying ready, both mentally and physically. Even though I haven't had much playing time, I make sure to put in the work during practice sessions and workouts. I think my dedication to improving my game has definitely paid off.
Reporter: Speaking of dedication, it's been said that you take your career very seriously. Can you tell us a bit about your practice ethics?
Cicely Giordano: Absolutely. I think it's important to always give 100% in everything you do. I'm always looking for ways to improve and I listen to my coach's advice to become a better player. But of course, I also know how to have a bit of fun and relax off the pitch.
Reporter: One thing that's been noted about you is your resilience on the field. You've played through injuries and concussions. How do you manage to push through the pain?
Cicely Giordano: It's all about mental toughness for me. I love the game so much that I'm willing to put my body on the line to help my team win. I know it may not be the healthiest approach, but it's just who I am as a player.
Reporter: Lastly, can you tell us a random interesting fact about your life that fans may not know about?
Cicely Giordano: Well, I actually have a twin sister who also plays soccer. We used to play on the same team growing up until she decided to pursue a different career path. It's always been a fun rivalry between us, but we still support each other in everything we do.
