Exclusive Interview with Rising Star Derin Guler
Reporter: Derin, thank you for taking the time to speak with us today. Let's start off by talking about your recent exceptional form, despite not having played any matches this season. How have you maintained such high levels of performance?
Derin: Thank you for having me. I believe my work ethic and dedication to improving my game have been key factors in my recent form. Even though I haven't had the chance to showcase my skills in matches, I make sure to push myself during training sessions and focus on developing my skills.
Reporter: It's great to hear that you are putting in the work off the pitch. Can you tell us a bit about your practice ethics and how you strive to improve as a player?
Derin: I would say I'm not the hardest worker out there, but I definitely put in the effort to meet the expectations of my club. I never turn down an opportunity to have fun, but when it comes to training and improving my game, I make sure to give it my all. I'm constantly looking for ways to better myself and become a more well-rounded player.
Reporter: That's a commendable attitude to have. As a young player, it's important to focus on your health and well-being. How do you balance your career with maintaining a healthy lifestyle?
Derin: I have to admit, I wasn't always the most health-conscious player on the pitch. However, with age and experience, I've come to realize the importance of taking care of my body. I've started adopting healthier habits, such as eating less fast food and following a keto diet. I believe that by taking care of myself physically, I can prolong my career and continue playing at a high level for years to come.
Reporter: Lastly, can you share with us your favorite club to play against and your preferred formation and play style?
Derin: My favorite club to play against would have to be INT. They always bring out the best in me and push me to improve my game. As for my preferred formation, I like to play in a 4-4-1-1 formation, with a focus on defending. I believe that a strong defensive game is crucial in winning matches and I enjoy the challenge of shutting down the opposition's attack.
