Girard Champagne: Well, before I fully committed to pursuing a career in football, I used to be an avid rock climber. It was my way of staying fit and pushing myself physically and mentally. But once I realized my true passion was on the football pitch, I gave up climbing to focus all my energy on becoming the best player I can be.
Reporter: That's fascinating! Now let's talk about your practice ethics. You are known for your exceptional skill and dedication to improving as a footballer. Can you tell us more about your mindset when it comes to training and developing your game?
Girard Champagne: My only goal in life is to thrive as a footballer. I'm willing to sacrifice everything else to achieve that dream. I have no friends, no fun, just work all day every day. I will do everything I can to get better, no matter what it takes.
Reporter: It's clear that you have a strong drive and determination to succeed. How do you balance that intense focus with taking care of your health on and off the pitch?
Girard Champagne: As a young player, I may not have been the most health-conscious, but with age and experience, I've learned the importance of taking care of my body. I'm gradually adopting healthier habits, like reducing my intake of fast food and following a keto diet to prolong my career.
Reporter: That's great to hear. Finally, can you share your favorite club to play against and your preferred formation and play style on the pitch?
Girard Champagne: I always look forward to playing against RAI, as it pushes me to perform at my best. My favorite formation is 3-5-2, and I prefer a neutral play style that allows me to adapt to any situation on the field.
