Exclusive Interview with Rising Star Rupert Shafer
Reporter: Rupert, thank you for sitting down with us today. Let's start off by talking about your recent exceptional form on the pitch. How do you feel about your performance so far this season?
Rupert: Thank you for having me. I'm really pleased with how I've been playing, even though I haven't had the opportunity to showcase my skills in any matches yet. I've been working hard in training and I feel ready to contribute to the team whenever I'm called upon.
Reporter: That's great to hear. Your favorite club to play against is LUC, can you tell us why that is?
Rupert: I always enjoy playing against LUC because it's a tough match and brings out the best in me. The competition is fierce and I thrive in those high-pressure situations.
Reporter: Your practice ethics have been a topic of discussion among fans and pundits. Some label you as lazy, while others say you have a wide range of interests. How do you respond to those criticisms?
Rupert: I understand where the criticisms are coming from, but I believe that football is not just about how many hours you spend on the training ground. I like to have a balanced approach to life, and that includes spending time with my family and pursuing other interests outside of the sport. I may not put in extra work like some of my teammates, but I still give my best on the pitch.
Reporter: That's a fair point. Can you share with us a random interesting fact about your life that fans may not know about?
Rupert: Well, I actually have a twin brother who also plays football. We've always been competitive with each other, but we support each other's careers and push each other to be the best we can be. It's been a huge influence on my development as a player.
Reporter: Thank you for sharing that with us, Rupert. We wish you all the best in your future matches with Copthorne S.A.
Rupert: Thank you, I appreciate the support. I'll continue to work hard and give my all for the team.
