Verl: Thank you for having me. It's been a challenging season for me personally, as I have been working hard in training to improve my skills and fitness. I believe that my dedication and commitment to bettering myself every day have translated into my exceptional form on the pitch.
Reporter: Your practice ethics seem to be highly praised by your coach. How do you balance your serious approach to your career with letting loose once in a while?
Verl: It's all about finding the right balance. While I take my career very seriously and work hard to improve, I also understand the importance of relaxation and enjoyment. I make sure to have fun with my teammates off the pitch, which helps me stay motivated and focused during training and games.
Reporter: We've heard that you are progressively adopting healthier habits to prolong your career. Can you tell us more about this change and how it has impacted your performance?
Verl: As a young player, I was not the most health-conscious on the pitch. However, with age and experience, I have realized the importance of taking care of my body. I have started to focus on my diet, opting for more nutritious options like a keto diet rather than fast food. This change has definitely improved my overall fitness and performance on the field.
Reporter: It's interesting to hear about your journey towards a healthier lifestyle. Lastly, can you share with us your favorite club to play against and your favorite play style?
Verl: My favorite club to play against is SON, as the matches against them are always intense and competitive. As for my favorite play style, I enjoy defending and protecting my team's goal at all costs. I thrive on the challenge of keeping clean sheets and helping my team secure victories.
