Exclusive Interview with Rising Star Xia Yang
Reporter: Good afternoon Xia, thank you for taking the time to speak with us. Let's start off by talking about your current club, Copthorne S.A. How do you feel about your recent exceptional form, despite not having played any matches this season?
Xia Yang: Thank you for having me. I think my performance in training has been really good, and I've been working hard to stay in top shape. It's just a matter of waiting for my chance to prove myself on the pitch.
Reporter: You're known for your strong skills as a midfielder. What do you attribute your success to in that position?
Xia Yang: I believe my strength and ability to defend well contribute to my success as a midfielder. I always try to disrupt the opponent's play and provide support to our defense.
Reporter: It's interesting to hear that you enjoy defending, especially in a sport where scoring goals is often the focus. Can you tell us a bit more about your favorite play style?
Xia Yang: I think defending is just as important as attacking in football. A solid defense can lay the foundation for a successful team, and I take pride in my ability to contribute to that aspect of the game.
Reporter: Moving on to a more personal note, can you share an interesting fact about your life that fans might not know about?
Xia Yang: Well, I actually have a twin brother who also plays football professionally. We used to play together in our youth, but we went our separate ways when we signed with different clubs. It's always a friendly competition between us whenever we face off on the pitch.
Reporter: That's fascinating! Thank you for sharing that with us. Finally, with Copthorne S.A. currently ranked 5th in the league, what are your goals for the rest of the season?
Xia Yang: My goal is to continue working hard in training and be ready to make an impact whenever I'm called upon to play. I believe that with dedication and perseverance, we can climb up the rankings and achieve success as a team.
Reporter: Thank you for your time, Xia. We wish you the best of luck for the remainder of the season.
Xia Yang: Thank you, it was a pleasure speaking with you.
