Exclusive Interview with Rotorua Savages Defender Iris Diana

Reporter: Thank you for taking the time to speak with us, Iris. Let's start off by talking about your current club, Rotorua Savages. How do you feel about the team's performance so far this season?
Iris: It's been a tough season for us, no doubt about it. We're currently sitting at 9th out of 10 teams in the league, and we've conceded a total of 49 goals. But I believe we have the potential to turn things around and finish the season strong.
Reporter: You've been described as an exceptional defender with a neutral play style. How do you approach each match to make sure you're at the top of your game?
Iris: I just focus on doing my job and helping the team as much as I can. I may not be the hardest worker on the pitch, but I always give my best and try to meet the expectations of the club. I like to keep things simple and stick to what I know best.
Reporter: It's interesting to hear that you're not the hardest worker, but you still manage to perform exceptionally on the field. Can you tell us more about your practice ethics and how you maintain your skill level?
Iris: I do put in the work during practice, but I also believe in having a good balance between work and play. I never turn down an opportunity to have fun, as long as I can still meet the expectations of the club. I think it's important to enjoy the game and not take things too seriously all the time.
Reporter: And finally, can you share a random interesting fact about your life that fans might not know about?
Iris: Well, I actually have a twin sister who also plays professional football. We used to play for the same club before she transferred to another team. It's always a fun rivalry when we face each other on the pitch.
Reporter: Thank you for sharing that with us, Iris. We wish you and Rotorua Savages the best of luck for the rest of the season.
