Exclusive Interview with Rotorua Savages Defender Kiel Richard

Reporter: Kiel Richard, thank you for taking the time to sit down with us for this exclusive interview. Let's start off by talking about your current form on the pitch. You've been exceptional this season, with your defensive skills shining through in every match. How do you maintain such a high level of performance at the age of 35?
Kiel Richard: Thank you for having me. I think it all comes down to my dedication to the game. I take my career very seriously and I make sure to put in the hard work both on and off the pitch. I believe that my practice ethics play a big role in my success.
Reporter: Speaking of off the pitch, we've heard that you know how to let loose once in a while. How do you balance your serious approach to your career with the need to unwind and have some fun?
Kiel Richard: It's all about finding the right balance. I know when to work hard and when to relax. I think it's important to have some downtime to recharge and come back even stronger.
Reporter: You've had a few health scares in the past, including injuries and concussions. How do you manage to push through these challenges and continue performing at such a high level?
Kiel Richard: I've been through a lot in my career, but I've always been determined to overcome any obstacles that come my way. I have a never-give-up attitude that has helped me through some tough times.
Reporter: Lastly, before we wrap up, can you share with us a random interesting fact about your life that fans might not know about?
Kiel Richard: Well, one interesting fact about me is that I actually have a black belt in taekwondo. It's something I've been passionate about since I was a kid, and it has helped me both on and off the pitch.
