Exclusive Interview with Rotorua Savages Defender Marguerite Michaud

Interviewer: Marguerite, thank you for taking the time to speak with us today. Let's start by talking about your current club, Rotorua Savages. How do you feel about the team's performance this season?
Marguerite: It's been a good season so far for us. We're currently ranked third in the league, and I think we have a strong chance of finishing even higher by the end of the season. The team has been working hard on and off the pitch, and our coach has been instrumental in pushing us to be the best we can be.
Interviewer: You're known for your exceptional skills as a defender. What do you attribute your success to?
Marguerite: I think a lot of it comes down to my practice ethics. I take my career very seriously and I'm always looking for ways to improve my game. Whether it's studying film, working on drills, or just staying in top physical condition, I'm always looking for ways to get better.
Interviewer: You've had a few injuries and concussions in your career. How do you manage to keep playing at such a high level despite these setbacks?
Marguerite: It's true that I've had my fair share of injuries, but I've always been the type of player who is willing to push through the pain. I think a lot of it comes down to mental toughness and a desire to succeed. I love this game and I'll do whatever it takes to stay on the pitch.
Interviewer: And finally, what's one interesting fact about your life that fans might not know?
Marguerite: Well, one random fact about me is that I actually have a black belt in karate. It's something I started when I was younger and I've kept up with it ever since. It's a great way to stay in shape and it helps me with my agility and reflexes on the pitch.
Interviewer: That's impressive! Thank you for sharing that with us, Marguerite. We wish you and Rotorua Savages all the best for the rest of the season.
Marguerite: Thank you, it was my pleasure.
