Exclusive Interview with Rotorua Savages Defender Somer Decker
Reporter: Somer, you have been in exceptional form this season, how do you feel about your performance so far?
Somer: Thank you, I always strive to give my best on the field. It's been a tough journey, but I'm glad to see the hard work paying off.
Reporter: Your practice ethics have been described as extreme, can you tell us more about your dedication to the game?
Somer: Football is my life, my sole focus. I don't have time for distractions or leisure activities. I eat, sleep, and breathe football. That's the only way I know how to succeed.
Reporter: Despite your dedication, there have been concerns about your healthiness. How do you respond to those criticisms?
Somer: I understand the risks I take by pushing my body to the limit, but I believe in my ability to perform at the highest level. I am willing to sacrifice my well-being for the love of the game.
Reporter: What is your favorite aspect of playing for Rotorua Savages?
Somer: I love the competitive spirit of the team and the support from the fans. It's a great feeling to be at the top of the table and I want to continue striving for success with this club.
Reporter: Lastly, can you share a random interesting fact about your life outside of football?
Somer: Well, despite my intense focus on the game, I am actually a skilled painter in my free time. It's my way of unwinding and expressing myself in a different way.
Reporter: Thank you for your time, Somer. We wish you continued success on and off the field with Rotorua Savages.
Somer: Thank you, it's been a pleasure.
