Exclusive Interview with Rotorua Savages' Defender Yan Chang
Interviewer: Yan, thank you for taking the time to speak with us. Let's start off by talking about your practice ethics. It's been said that you will do anything to improve as a footballer, even at the expense of everything else in your life. Can you elaborate on this dedication?
Yan Chang: Yes, it's true. Football is my passion and my sole focus in life. I believe that in order to succeed, you have to give it your all and make sacrifices. For me, that means putting in the work every day, all day, with no distractions. No friends, no fun. Just football.
Interviewer: That level of dedication is truly commendable. How do you manage to strike a balance between maintaining a healthy lifestyle and your rigorous training schedule?
Yan Chang: I think it's all about finding a balance that works for you. I make sure to eat well, exercise regularly, and get enough rest to keep my body in top shape. But at the same time, I know that I have to push myself to the limit in training to reach my full potential.
Interviewer: You have yet to play a match this season, but your recent form has been exceptional. How have you managed to stay in top shape without competitive game time?
Yan Chang: I believe that practice makes perfect. Even without matches, I continue to train hard every day to ensure that I am ready when my time comes. I have a strong work ethic and a desire to constantly improve, which drives me to stay at the top of my game.
Interviewer: Lastly, can you tell us a random interesting fact about your life outside of football?
Yan Chang: Well, I have a passion for cooking. In my free time, I enjoy experimenting with new recipes and creating delicious meals for myself and my teammates. It's a way for me to unwind and relax away from the pitch.
Interviewer: Thank you for sharing that with us, Yan. We wish you the best of luck in your upcoming matches with the Rotorua Savages.
Yan Chang: Thank you. It's been a pleasure.
