Exclusive Interview with Rotorua Savages Forward Donte Deluca
Reporter: Donte, thank you for taking the time to speak with us today. Let's start with your recent exceptional form on the pitch. How do you manage to maintain such high levels of performance?
Donte Deluca: Thank you for having me. I think it all comes down to my work ethic. I take my career very seriously and put in the time both on and off the pitch to improve my skills. My coach has always praised me for my dedication, and I think that's what sets me apart.
Reporter: It's great to hear that you're so committed to your career. Speaking of commitment, how do you balance your serious approach to the game with letting loose once in a while?
Donte Deluca: It's all about finding the right balance. I know when to focus and put in the hard work, but I also understand the importance of relaxation and enjoying life off the pitch. It's all about finding that equilibrium.
Reporter: That's a great mindset to have. Now, let's talk about your health habits. It's been noted that you're starting to adopt healthier practices to prolong your career. Can you tell us more about that?
Donte Deluca: As a young player, I may not have been the most health-conscious, but with age and experience, I've realized the importance of taking care of my body. I've started to cut down on fast food and focus more on a keto diet to improve my overall health and longevity in the game.
Reporter: That's fantastic to hear. Lastly, Donte, could you share with us your favorite club to play against and your preferred formation and play style?
Donte Deluca: I always enjoy playing against OIL, they bring out the best in me. My favorite formation is 3-5-2, and I prefer a neutral play style that allows me to adapt to different situations on the pitch.
Reporter: Thank you for sharing those insights with us, Donte. Before we end, can you share a random interesting fact about your life with our readers?
Donte Deluca: Fun fact, I used to be a skateboarder before I turned my focus to football. It's something I still enjoy doing in my free time to unwind and clear my head.
Reporter: That's fascinating! Thank you for your time, Donte, and best of luck with your career at Rotorua Savages.
Donte Deluca: Thank you, it was a pleasure speaking with you.
