Exclusive Interview with Rotorua Savages Forward Hugo Berger

Interviewer: Hugo, thank you for taking the time to sit down with us. Your recent form has been exceptional, yet you haven't played a single match this season. Can you tell us why that is?
Hugo Berger: Thank you for having me. It's true that I haven't played a match this season, but that doesn't mean I haven't been working hard. I've been putting in extra hours on the training ground, sharpening my skills and staying fit. I trust the coach's decision and I'm ready to contribute whenever called upon.
Interviewer: Your practice ethics seem to be quite serious. How do you balance that with having fun off the pitch?
Hugo Berger: It's all about finding the right balance. I know that to succeed in my career, I need to put in the hard work. But I also know the importance of enjoying life and taking time to relax. Whether it's hanging out with friends or going on a hike, I make sure to take care of my mental health as well.
Interviewer: What do you think sets you apart from other players your age?
Hugo Berger: I think my dedication to improving every day is what sets me apart. I have a strong work ethic and I'm always looking for ways to get better. I also have a passion for the game and a love for defending, which I think gives me a unique perspective on the field.
Interviewer: Lastly, what is an interesting fact about your life that fans may not know?
Hugo Berger: One interesting fact about me is that I used to be a competitive swimmer before I fully committed to football. Swimming taught me discipline and perseverance, which I carry with me on the pitch every day.
Interviewer: Thank you for sharing that with us, Hugo. We look forward to seeing you out on the field soon.
Hugo Berger: Thank you for having me. I can't wait to show what I can do in the upcoming matches.
