Exclusive Interview with Rotorua Savages Forward Kyra Jerome

Reporter: Kyra, thank you for taking the time to sit down with us today. Let's start off by discussing your current form this season. You have been exceptional on the pitch, with one goal and three assists in just four matches. How are you feeling about your performance so far?
Kyra: Thank you for having me. I'm feeling good about how I've been playing lately. I've been able to contribute both in scoring and setting up my teammates, which is always satisfying.
Reporter: Your practice ethics have been a topic of discussion among fans and pundits. Some say you're not the most diligent in training, but still manage to perform well on match day. How do you respond to those comments?
Kyra: Football is important to me, but so is having a balance in life. I like to have fun and spend time with my family, so I may not always put in extra hours at practice. However, I still make sure to stay in shape and work on my game.
Reporter: It's great to hear that you prioritize a well-rounded lifestyle. Can you tell us about your journey towards adopting healthier habits as you've gotten older?
Kyra: As a young player, I wasn't the most health-conscious athlete. But as I've aged, I realized the importance of taking care of my body to prolong my career. I've been cutting down on fast food and following a keto diet, which has helped me feel more energized on the pitch.
Reporter: That's fantastic to hear. Lastly, can you share with us your favorite club to play against and your preferred formation and play style?
Kyra: I always enjoy playing against MAR, as it's a competitive match-up that brings out the best in me. My favorite formation is 4-3-3, and I like to play a neutral style that allows me to adapt to the game as it unfolds.
Reporter: Thank you for your time, Kyra. Best of luck with the rest of the season!
Kyra: Thank you, I appreciate it.
