Exclusive Interview with Rotorua Savages Forward, Sachi Fujimoto

Reporter: Sachi, thank you for taking the time to speak with us. Let's start with your recent form on the pitch. It seems like you've been assisting your teammates a lot this season but haven't scored any goals yourself. How do you feel about your performance so far?

Sachi Fujimoto: It's true that I haven't been able to find the back of the net yet this season, but I'm happy to be contributing to the team with assists. Scoring goals is important, of course, but ultimately it's about helping the team win games.

Reporter: Your practice ethics have been a topic of discussion among fans and analysts. Some say you're lazy, while others believe you have a wide range of interests outside of football. What do you have to say about that?

Sachi Fujimoto: Football is definitely important to me, but so is having fun and spending time with my family. I may not be the most health-conscious player on the pitch, but I'm trying to adopt healthier habits as I get older. And as for being lazy, I think people underestimate the work I put in behind the scenes.

Reporter: Speaking of off the pitch, can you share a random interesting fact about your life that fans may not know?

Sachi Fujimoto: Well, I used to be a chef before I pursued a professional football career. Cooking is still a passion of mine, and I try to incorporate healthy eating habits into my lifestyle now.

Reporter: That's fascinating! Lastly, what are your goals for the rest of the season with Rotorua Savages?

Sachi Fujimoto: My main goal is to help the team climb up the rankings and secure a spot in the top half of the table. Personally, I hope to score my first goal of the season soon and continue assisting my teammates to victory.

Reporter: Thank you for your time, Sachi. Best of luck for the rest of the season!

Sachi Fujimoto: Thank you!
