Reporter: Good evening Karl, thank you for taking the time to speak with us. Let's start off by talking about your current club, the Rotorua Savages. What drew you to the club and what do you enjoy most about playing for them?

Karl Lutz: Well, I was drawn to the Rotorua Savages because they have a winning mentality. I love playing for clubs that are hungry for success and will do whatever it takes to win. It's a great environment for me to thrive in as a player.

Reporter: You have been in exceptional form this season, conceding only 3 goals in 12 matches. What do you attribute your success to?

Karl Lutz: My success this season comes down to my practice ethics. I am always striving to improve and I am willing to sacrifice everything else in my life in order to become a better player. It's all about hard work and dedication.

Reporter: It's clear that your dedication to your craft is paying off. What is your favorite part about being a goalkeeper?

Karl Lutz: I love the pressure of being the last line of defense. It's a position that requires focus, quick reflexes, and mental strength. I thrive in high-pressure situations and being a goalkeeper allows me to showcase my skills.

Reporter: Lastly, can you share a random interesting fact about your life outside of football?

Karl Lutz: Well, despite my intense dedication to the sport, I do have a soft spot for animals. I volunteer at a local animal shelter in my free time and it brings me joy to help out those in need.

Reporter: Thank you for sharing that with us, Karl. It's been a pleasure speaking with you.

Karl Lutz: Thank you for having me. It's been a pleasure.
