Exclusive Interview with Rotorua Savages Goalkeeper Maryam Sultan

Reporter: Maryam, thank you for taking the time to speak with us today. Let's start off by discussing your recent form and the challenges you've been facing on the field.
Maryam Sultan: It's been a tough season for me, to be honest. I haven't been playing at my best and it's been frustrating to see the goals go in. But I'm working hard to improve and I'm confident that I can turn things around.
Reporter: Your practice ethics have been described as average, with a tendency to prioritize fun over hard work. How do you respond to that criticism?
Maryam Sultan: I think it's important to enjoy what you do, but I also understand the importance of putting in the work. I'm trying to find a balance between having fun and working hard to improve my game.
Reporter: You have a reputation for playing through injuries and pushing yourself to the limit. How do you manage to keep going despite the physical toll it takes on your body?
Maryam Sultan: I've always been someone who gives my all on the field, no matter what. I'm willing to push through the pain to help my team and I think that's what sets me apart as a player.
Reporter: What are your thoughts on your favorite club to play against, SYC, and your current team ranking at the bottom of the table?
Maryam Sultan: SYC is always a tough opponent, but I enjoy the challenge of facing them. As for our current ranking, it's disappointing to be at the bottom, but I believe we have the potential to climb up the table with hard work and determination.
Reporter: Lastly, can you share a random interesting fact about your life that fans may not know about you?
Maryam Sultan: One interesting fact about me is that I have a passion for cooking and baking. I love experimenting with new recipes and trying out different cuisines in my spare time.
Reporter: Thank you for sharing that with us, Maryam. We wish you a speedy recovery from your injury and all the best for the rest of the season.
Maryam Sultan: Thank you, I appreciate the support.
