Exclusive Interview with Rotorua Savages Goalkeeper Tama Kimura
Reporter: Tama, it's great to have you here for this exclusive interview. Let's start by talking about your exceptional form this season, despite not having played any matches yet. How do you keep yourself prepared and motivated?
Tama: Thank you for having me. I believe in staying focused and working hard in training, even if I'm not on the pitch during matches. I always push myself to be better, both physically and mentally, so that when my time comes, I'm ready to perform at my best.
Reporter: Your dedication to your career is truly admirable. How do you balance your serious practice ethics with the need to relax and unwind?
Tama: It's all about finding the right balance. I know the importance of taking care of my body and staying healthy, but I also know that it's important to have some fun and relax once in a while. Whether it's spending time with friends or enjoying a good meal, I make sure to take time for myself outside of football.
Reporter: You have never let a goal pass you this season. What's your secret to maintaining such a strong defense?
Tama: I credit it to my teammates and the hard work we put in together on the field. We communicate well, trust each other, and work as a unit to defend our goal. It's not just about me as a goalkeeper, but about the entire team working together to keep a clean sheet.
Reporter: Lastly, can you share with us an interesting fact about your life off the pitch that fans might not know about you?
Tama: Well, I actually have a passion for cooking. Whenever I have free time, I love experimenting with new recipes and creating delicious meals for my friends and family. It's a great way for me to unwind and relax outside of football.
Reporter: That's great to hear! Thank you for sharing a bit more about yourself, Tama. We wish you all the best for the rest of the season with Rotorua Savages.
Tama: Thank you, it's been a pleasure.
