Exclusive Interview with Rotorua Savages' Midfielder Hilding Wallin

Reporter: Hilding, thank you for taking the time to speak with us today. Let's start by addressing the elephant in the room - your recent injury. How are you feeling and when can we expect to see you back on the pitch?

Hilding: Thank you for having me. Unfortunately, the injury has been a setback for me but I am working hard on my recovery. I hope to be back in action soon and help my team climb up the rankings.

Reporter: You have been known for your exceptional skills on the field, but lately, your form hasn't been up to par. What do you think has been the reason for this dip in performance?

Hilding: It's true that I haven't been at my best recently. I think it's a combination of factors - the injury, lack of playing time, and perhaps a bit of complacency on my part. But I am determined to bounce back and show what I am capable of.

Reporter: Speaking of playing time, you have only appeared in one match this season. Do you feel frustrated by the lack of opportunities, or do you understand the coach's decisions?

Hilding: Of course, as a player, you always want to be on the field, contributing to the team's success. But I respect the coach's decisions and I am ready to prove myself whenever I am called upon.

Reporter: Let's switch gears a bit. You have a reputation for not being the most hardworking player in terms of practice. How do you balance your love for football with your other interests?

Hilding: Football is my passion, but I also believe in having a balanced life. I enjoy spending time with my family, pursuing other hobbies, and taking care of my health. It's all about finding the right balance.

Reporter: And finally, can you share with us a random interesting fact about your life that fans might not know?

Hilding: Well, I am actually a certified yoga instructor. It's something I picked up during my rehab period for a previous injury and it has helped me both physically and mentally. Who knows, maybe one day I'll teach a yoga class to my teammates!

Reporter: That's fascinating! Thank you for sharing that with us, Hilding. We wish you a speedy recovery and look forward to seeing you back on the pitch soon.

Hilding: Thank you, it's been a pleasure.
