Exclusive Interview with Rotorua Savages Midfielder Kagan Salih

Reporter: Kagan, thank you for sitting down with us for this interview. Let's start with your recent form - you've been exceptional on the field, but you haven't played any matches this season. Can you explain?
Kagan: Well, it's been a bit frustrating to not have played yet this season, but I've been working hard in training and staying ready for my opportunity. I trust the coach's decision and I'm just focused on being ready when my name is called.
Reporter: Your practice ethics have been a topic of discussion. Some say you're lazy, while others say you have a wide range of interests. What do you have to say about that?
Kagan: I think it's important to have a balance in life. Football is definitely a priority for me, but I also enjoy spending time with my family and pursuing other interests outside of the sport. I wouldn't say I'm lazy, just that I have a different approach to training and preparation.
Reporter: You're known for your healthy habits and balanced approach to maintaining good health. How do you manage to stay healthy while still having fun?
Kagan: I think it's all about moderation. I try to eat well, get enough rest, and stay active outside of football. I believe that having a balanced lifestyle helps me perform better on the field and enjoy life off of it.
Reporter: Lastly, what's an interesting fact about your life that fans might not know?
Kagan: One interesting fact about me is that I'm actually a skilled chess player. I've been playing since I was a kid and I find that it helps me think strategically on the football pitch as well.
Reporter: Thank you for sharing that with us, Kagan. We look forward to seeing you back on the field soon.
