Exclusive Interview with Rotorua Savages' Midfielder Trudi Godfrey
Reporter: Trudi, you've been in exceptional form this season, leading Rotorua Savages to the top of the league table. What do you attribute your success to?
Trudi: Thank you. I think my serious practice ethics have really paid off. I make sure to invest time both on and off the pitch to improve my game. But I also know how to let loose and have fun when the time is right.
Reporter: You have scored six goals already this season. What's been the key to your scoring success?
Trudi: I think my experience on the field has really helped me find the back of the net. I also have a knack for being in the right place at the right time. Plus, my favorite formation, 3-5-2, really allows me to capitalize on scoring opportunities.
Reporter: Your healthiness has been a topic of discussion, with some questioning if your partying lifestyle will catch up to you. How do you respond to those concerns?
Trudi: (laughs) My body may be more of a ruin than a temple, but I know how to take care of myself when it counts. I've powered through injuries and concussions before, and I don't plan on slowing down anytime soon.
Reporter: Lastly, what's an interesting fact about your life that fans may not know?
Trudi: Well, I actually have a secret talent for playing the guitar. When I'm not on the pitch, you can often find me strumming away and writing my own songs. It's a great way for me to unwind and relax.
Reporter: Thank you for your time, Trudi. Good luck for the rest of the season.
Trudi: Thank you. I'll do my best to keep leading Rotorua Savages to victory.
