Exclusive Interview with Rotorua Savages' Young Star Midfielder, Eri Kaneshiro

Reporter: Eri, thank you for taking the time to sit down with us. Let's start with your recent form on the pitch. You've been exceptional this season, with 13 matches played and no goals or assists. What do you attribute your success to?
Eri: Thank you for having me. I think my success this season comes down to my dedication to improving my game. I may not have scored or assisted yet, but I've been working hard to contribute to the team in other ways, especially in defending.
Reporter: That's great to hear. Speaking of your work ethic, how would you describe your practice ethics?
Eri: I would say I'm not the hardest worker, but I always put in the work required to meet the club's expectations. I also make sure to have fun while doing it. Life is too short to not enjoy what you do.
Reporter: It's refreshing to hear that perspective. Moving on to your health habits, you mentioned you're starting to adopt healthier habits. Can you tell us more about that?
Eri: Yes, as a young player, I wasn't the most health-conscious on the pitch. But I've been gradually making changes to my diet and lifestyle. Less fast food, more keto. I want to prolong my career as much as possible.
Reporter: That's a smart move. Lastly, can you share with us a random interesting fact about your life off the pitch?
Eri: Sure, I'm actually an avid painter in my free time. It's a great way for me to relax and express my creativity outside of football.
Reporter: That's fascinating! Thank you for sharing that with us, Eri. We wish you continued success on and off the pitch.
Eri: Thank you, it was a pleasure chatting with you.
