Exclusive Interview with Ryu Sakamoto: The Dedicated Defender Focused on Thriving as a Footballer

Ryu: Thank you for having me. Football has always been a passion of mine since I was a young boy. I was inspired by the dedication and discipline that the sport requires. The idea of being part of a team, working towards a common goal, and pushing myself to be the best I can be has always motivated me.
Interviewer: Your commitment to the game is truly remarkable. How do you maintain such exceptional form and continue to thrive as a footballer at the age of 39?
Ryu: I believe that hard work and dedication are essential to success. I've always had a single-minded focus on my career, sacrificing everything else around me. I don't have friends or engage in activities outside of football. Every day is dedicated to improving myself as a player. I prioritize my health and treat my body like my most valuable asset. I turn down late nights and new athletic challenges if it means jeopardizing my career. It's not an easy path, but it's the one I've chosen to take.
Interviewer: It's evident that you are fully committed to your craft. Do you have any favorite clubs to play against?
Ryu: I enjoy playing against Aston Villa (AVL). They have a strong team and provide a tough challenge. It's always a thrilling experience to face them on the pitch.
Interviewer: And regarding formations and play styles, what are your preferences?
Ryu: Personally, I favor the 4-4-2 formation. It offers a balance between defense and attack. As a defender, I find it allows me the opportunity to contribute both defensively and offensively. I enjoy an attacking play style, pressing forward when the opportunity arises.
