Exclusive Interview with San Lorenzo Bulls' Defender Laith Issa
Reporter: Laith, thank you for taking the time to sit down with us. Let's start by talking about your recent form with San Lorenzo Bulls. How do you feel you have been performing so far this season?
Laith Issa: Thank you for having me. I think I've been doing well, but there is always room for improvement. I'm constantly striving to be the best defender I can be for my team.
Reporter: You mentioned that you like clubs that invest in team chemistry and culture. How has your experience been at San Lorenzo Bulls in that regard?
Laith Issa: San Lorenzo Bulls has been a great fit for me. The team really values the bond between players and creating a strong team culture. It's something that I believe is crucial for success on the pitch.
Reporter: You have played four matches this season and only conceded two goals. What do you attribute this strong defensive record to?
Laith Issa: It's a combination of factors. Our formation and play style definitely play a role, but it also comes down to communication and teamwork. We all work together to make sure we are solid at the back.
Reporter: It's interesting to hear that you have adopted healthier habits as you've gotten older. Can you tell us more about that transition?
Laith Issa: As a younger player, I was not as health-conscious as I should have been. But as I've gotten older, I've realized the importance of taking care of my body in order to prolong my career. So now, I focus on eating well and staying fit.
Reporter: And finally, what is one random interesting fact about your life that fans might not know?
Laith Issa: One thing that fans might not know about me is that I used to be a professional chess player before I fully committed to football. Chess taught me patience and strategic thinking, which has definitely helped me on the pitch.
