Exclusive Interview with San Lorenzo Bulls Defender Willard Shoemaker

Reporter: Willard, thank you for taking the time to speak with us. Let's start with your current club, San Lorenzo Bulls. The team is currently ranked 9th out of 10 teams in the league. What do you think has been the biggest challenge for the team this season?

Willard: It's been a tough season for us so far. I think our biggest challenge has been our inconsistency on the defensive end. We've conceded 35 goals already this season, which is not where we want to be. As a defender, it's my job to help shore up the back line and prevent those goals from going in.

Reporter: Speaking of defending, you have been known for your exceptional skills in that area. What do you credit your success to?

Willard: I think it all comes down to hard work and dedication. I take my job very seriously and I make sure to put in the extra effort both on and off the pitch. I also have a great relationship with my coach, who has helped me develop my skills even further. But, of course, I also know when to let loose and have some fun off the field.

Reporter: You mentioned your coach. What is your relationship like with him?

Willard: My coach and I have a great relationship. He really appreciates my work ethic and dedication to the team. He knows that I will always give 100% on the field, no matter what. We have a mutual respect for each other, which I think is crucial for any successful team.

Reporter: Finally, can you share with us a random interesting fact about your life that fans may not know?

Willard: Well, something that fans may not know about me is that I am a huge fan of cooking. I love experimenting with different recipes and trying out new dishes. It's a great way for me to relax and unwind after a tough game. Cooking has become a passion of mine, and it's something that I really enjoy doing in my free time.

Reporter: Thank you for sharing that with us, Willard. We wish you and San Lorenzo Bulls the best of luck for the rest of the season.

Willard: Thank you, it was my pleasure.
