Exclusive Interview with Sarabi SC Defender Jie Yuan
Reporter: Jie, thank you for taking the time to sit down with us today. Let's start by talking about your recent form. You've been exceptional on the field, but you haven't actually played any matches this season. Can you explain that?
Jie Yuan: It's been a strange season for me. I've been working hard in training and staying ready for when my opportunity comes. The coach has his reasons for not selecting me, but I'm confident that I can make an impact when called upon.
Reporter: You're known for your attacking play style as a defender. How do you manage to balance that with your defensive responsibilities?
Jie Yuan: I think it's important for defenders to not only focus on stopping the opposition, but also contribute to the attack. I like to get forward and support the midfielders and strikers whenever possible. It's a risky style of play, but it's one that I enjoy.
Reporter: You're also known for your partying off the field. How do you manage to maintain a high level of performance despite your lifestyle?
Jie Yuan: It's all about finding a balance. I know when to have fun and when to focus on my job. I've had my fair share of injuries and setbacks, but I always bounce back stronger. I may not age well, but I'll always give my all for the team.
Reporter: One last question before we wrap up. What's your favorite memory as a player so far?
Jie Yuan: There's been so many great moments, but I think my favorite memory is playing against COB. The atmosphere is always amazing, and the rivalry brings out the best in me. I love the challenge of facing them on the field.
Reporter: Thank you for your time, Jie. We wish you all the best for the rest of the season.
