Reporter: Zehra, thank you for taking the time to speak with us today. Let's start with your recent injury. Can you give us an update on your condition?
Zehra Sahin: Thank you for having me. Unfortunately, I sustained a knee injury during our last match and I am currently in the recovery process. It's frustrating to be sidelined, but I'm working hard to get back on the pitch as soon as possible.
Reporter: Your team, Sarabi SC, is currently ranked 5th in the league. What do you think has been the key to your success this season?
Zehra Sahin: I believe our team chemistry and defensive play style have been crucial in our success so far. We have a solid backline and work well together to keep our opponents at bay. However, we still have room for improvement and I hope to contribute more to the team once I'm back in action.
Reporter: You have been known for your exceptional skills as a defender. What do you attribute your success to?
Zehra Sahin: I think my experience and knowledge of the game have helped me become a better player. I also try to stay disciplined and focused on the pitch, which has allowed me to perform at a high level. Of course, there's always room for improvement and I continue to work on my game every day.
Reporter: You have been criticized in the past for not being the most health-conscious player. How have you changed your habits to prolong your career?
Zehra Sahin: As I've gotten older, I've realized the importance of taking care of my body. I've started adopting healthier eating habits, focusing on a more balanced diet and incorporating exercises to improve my overall fitness. It's never too late to make a change and I want to continue playing at a high level for as long as possible.
Reporter: Lastly, can you share a random interesting fact about your life outside of football?
Zehra Sahin: One interesting fact about me is that I am an avid reader and love to spend my free time getting lost in a good book. It's a great way for me to unwind and relax after a tough match or practice session.
Reporter: Thank you for sharing that with us, Zehra. We wish you a speedy recovery and hope to see you back on the pitch soon.
