Reporter: Good afternoon Mele, thank you for taking the time to speak with us today. Let's start off by discussing your recent form. Despite not having played any matches this season, your performance in training has been exceptional. Can you tell us about how you have been preparing for the upcoming games?
Mele Kini: Thank you for having me. Yes, it's been a challenging time for me not being able to play due to various reasons. However, I have been working hard in training to stay sharp and ready for when my opportunity comes. I believe in pushing myself to the limit in every session to ensure I am at my best when called upon.
Reporter: Your practice ethics seem to be very serious, with a focus on improving your skills constantly. How do you maintain such a high level of dedication both on and off the pitch?
Mele Kini: I believe that to be successful in any field, one must be willing to put in the hard work and dedication required. I am always looking for ways to improve my game, whether it be through extra training sessions, watching game footage, or working on my physical conditioning. It's important to me to constantly strive for greatness and push myself to be the best player I can be.
Reporter: It's impressive to see your commitment to your career. However, there have been concerns about your health given your history of partying and playing through injuries. How do you manage to balance your lifestyle with the demands of professional football?
Mele Kini: I admit that I have made mistakes in the past when it comes to my health, but I have learned from those experiences. I now prioritize my well-being and listen to my body when it needs rest or recovery. It's important to find a balance between enjoying life and taking care of myself, and I believe I have found that balance now.
Reporter: Lastly, can you tell us about your favorite club to play against and your preferred formation and play style on the field?
Mele Kini: My favorite club to play against is SYC. There is always a fierce rivalry between us, and I thrive in those high-pressure situations. As for my favorite formation, I prefer a 4-4-1-1 setup, with a focus on defending and counter-attacking. I believe in working as a team to shut down the opposition and create scoring opportunities through quick transitions.
