Exclusive Interview with Sons of the Sahya Defender Alaya Abdullah

Reporter: Thank you for sitting down with us, Alaya. Let's start off by discussing your current club, Sons of the Sahya. How has your experience been playing for them so far?
Alaya: It's been a great experience. The club has a strong foundation and a supportive fan base, which makes playing for them even more enjoyable.
Reporter: Your recent form has been exceptional, with no goals conceded this season. What do you attribute this success to?
Alaya: I think it's a combination of my own skill and the support of my teammates. We have a solid defense that works well together, and it shows on the field.
Reporter: You have a reputation for not being the hardest worker when it comes to practice. How do you balance having fun off the field with meeting the expectations of the club?
Alaya: I believe in putting in the work when it counts. I may not be the first one on the training ground, but when it's game time, I give it my all. And as long as I'm meeting the club's expectations, I see no issue with enjoying myself outside of football.
Reporter: Your healthiness has been a topic of discussion, with rumors of injuries and concussions. How do you manage to continue playing at such a high level despite these challenges?
Alaya: I've been through my fair share of injuries, but I've always pushed through them. I believe in giving my all for the team, no matter the circumstances. As for aging well, I guess only time will tell.
Reporter: Lastly, what is one interesting fact about your life that fans may not know about?
Alaya: Well, I have a pet parrot named Rio who loves to watch me play. He's my good luck charm on and off the field.
Reporter: Thank you for sharing that with us, Alaya. We wish you continued success with Sons of the Sahya.
