Exclusive Interview with Sons of the Sahya Forward Cortney Mathis

Reporter: Cortney, thank you for taking the time to speak with us. Let's start with your recent form, which has been exceptional. How do you feel about your performance so far this season?
Cortney Mathis: Thank you for having me. I'm really pleased with how I've been playing lately. I've been working hard in training and it's paying off on the pitch. I'm feeling confident and ready to contribute to the team.
Reporter: Despite your excellent form, you haven't played any matches this season. Can you tell us why that is?
Cortney Mathis: Unfortunately, I've been dealing with a minor injury that has kept me out of the lineup. It's frustrating, but I'm doing everything I can to get back to full fitness as soon as possible.
Reporter: Your practice ethics have been praised by your coach. Can you tell us a bit about how you approach training and improving your game?
Cortney Mathis: I take my career very seriously, both on and off the pitch. I spend a lot of time working on my skills and fitness, and I try to learn from every training session and match. But I also know how to have fun and relax when I need to.
Reporter: You have a reputation for being a bit of a risk-taker when it comes to your health. How do you manage to perform at such a high level despite some questionable lifestyle choices?
Cortney Mathis: *laughs* I guess you could say I like to live life on the edge. I've had my fair share of injuries and setbacks, but I always push through and give my all for the team. I know I won't be able to keep it up forever, but for now, I'm just focused on playing my best.
Reporter: Lastly, do you have a favorite club to play against in the league?
Cortney Mathis: Definitely BBZ. The matches against them are always intense and competitive, and I love the challenge of facing off against their defense.
Reporter: Thank you for your time, Cortney. We wish you a speedy recovery and all the best for the rest of the season.
Cortney Mathis: Thank you. I appreciate it.
