Exclusive Interview with Sons of the Sahya Forward Yuta Shimabukuro
Reporter: Thank you for sitting down with us, Yuta. Let's start off by talking about your current form this season. You've scored 12 goals in 12 matches, which is quite impressive. What do you attribute your success to?
Yuta Shimabukuro: Thank you for having me. I think my success this season is a result of my experience on the pitch. I've been able to anticipate plays better and make the most of my opportunities in front of goal.
Reporter: It's interesting to note that you're not known for your practice ethic, yet you still manage to perform at a high level. How do you balance enjoying football and spending time with your family with the demands of professional play?
Yuta Shimabukuro: Football is important to me, but so is having a life outside of the sport. I think that balance has actually helped me perform better on the pitch. It keeps me mentally fresh and motivated.
Reporter: You mentioned adopting healthier habits as you've gotten older. Can you tell us more about that transition and how it's impacted your performance?
Yuta Shimabukuro: As a young player, I didn't pay much attention to my health. But as I've gotten older, I've realized the importance of taking care of my body. I've started eating better and training smarter, and I can feel the difference in my endurance and overall performance.
Reporter: Lastly, what is your favorite club to play against and why?
Yuta Shimabukuro: I always look forward to playing against RAI. They have a strong defense, which presents a challenge for me as a forward. It pushes me to elevate my game and find new ways to break through their backline.
Reporter: Thank you for your time, Yuta. Best of luck for the rest of the season.
Yuta Shimabukuro: Thank you, it was a pleasure speaking with you.
