Exclusive Interview with Sons of the Sahya Midfielder Kori Tanaka

Interviewer: Kori, thank you for taking the time to speak with us today. Let's start off by discussing your current club, Sons of the Sahya. How has your experience been playing for them so far?

Kori Tanaka: It's been a great experience so far. The team has a good atmosphere and the coaching staff is top-notch. I'm looking forward to getting on the pitch and contributing to our success this season.

Interviewer: Despite your exceptional skill and recent form, you have yet to make an appearance in any matches this season. Can you shed some light on that?

Kori Tanaka: It's just a matter of waiting for my opportunity. I've been working hard in training and staying ready for when the coach decides to call on me. I believe in my abilities and I know that I can make a positive impact when given the chance.

Interviewer: It's been said that you aren't known for putting in extra work on the training ground. How do you respond to those critics?

Kori Tanaka: Everyone has their own approach to training. I may not be the first one on the pitch or the last one to leave, but I make sure to give my best during the sessions. Football is important to me, but I also believe in having a balanced life outside of the game.

Interviewer: Speaking of a balanced life, what are some of your interests outside of football?

Kori Tanaka: I enjoy spending time with my family, trying out new restaurants, and traveling to different places. It's important to have hobbies and interests outside of football to keep a clear mind and stay motivated.

Interviewer: Lastly, can you share with us a random interesting fact about your life that fans may not know?

Kori Tanaka: I used to be a competitive chess player before I fully committed to pursuing a career in football. Chess has taught me strategic thinking and decision-making skills that I believe have helped me on the pitch.

Interviewer: Thank you for sharing that with us, Kori. We wish you all the best for the upcoming season with Sons of the Sahya.

Kori Tanaka: Thank you, it's been a pleasure.
