Exclusive Interview with Sons of the Sahya's Midfielder, Damir Teja

Reporter: Hello Damir, thank you for taking the time to sit down with us for this interview. Let's start off by talking about your recent form. You've been in exceptional form lately, but surprisingly, you haven't played any matches this season. Can you explain why that is?

Damir Teja: Well, it's been a bit of a strange season for me. I've been training hard and keeping myself fit, but for some reason, the manager hasn't given me any playing time. It's been frustrating, to say the least.

Reporter: Your practice ethics have been described as not the hardest worker but also not the worst. How do you feel about that assessment?

Damir Teja: I think that's a fair assessment. I put in the work when I need to, but I also like to have some fun off the field. It's all about finding the right balance.

Reporter: Speaking of off-field activities, your healthiness has been a topic of discussion. You've been known to party all night before big games and play through injuries and concussions. Do you think this will have an impact on your longevity as a player?

Damir Teja: Honestly, I don't really think about it too much. I just love playing the game, and I'll do whatever it takes to be out on the field. But yeah, I probably won't age too well with the way I treat my body.

Reporter: You've mentioned that your favorite club to play against is COP. Why is that?

Damir Teja: I always seem to have my best games against them. It's just one of those rivalries that brings out the best in me.

Reporter: Lastly, what's a random interesting fact about your life that your fans might not know?

Damir Teja: Well, I used to be a competitive chess player before I fully committed to football. It's a completely different world, but I think it helped me develop a strategic mindset on the field.

Reporter: Thank you for sharing that with us, Damir. We wish you all the best for the rest of the season.

Damir Teja: Thank you, it's been a pleasure.
