Exclusive Interview with Sycamore FC Defender Riki Matsuda

Reporter: Riki, thank you for taking the time to speak with us today. Let's start off by discussing your recent injury. Can you give us an update on your recovery process?
Riki Matsuda: Of course. I suffered a sprained ankle during our last match against REV, but I've been working hard with the team physiotherapist to get back to full fitness as soon as possible. It's been tough being on the sidelines, but I'm determined to come back stronger than ever.
Reporter: That's great to hear. Moving on to your practice habits, how do you balance working hard with having fun?
Riki Matsuda: I believe in putting in the work on the training ground, but I also think it's important to enjoy what you do. I make sure to give my all during practice sessions, but I also like to have some fun with my teammates. It's all about finding the right balance.
Reporter: It's clear that you have a strong work ethic. What do you think sets you apart from other defenders in the league?
Riki Matsuda: I think my experience and exceptional skill level play a big role in my performance on the pitch. I take pride in my defending abilities and always strive to be a reliable presence in the backline. Of course, there's always room for improvement, and I'm constantly working on my game.
Reporter: Lastly, can you share an interesting fact about your life outside of football?
Riki Matsuda: Well, not many people know this, but I'm actually a talented musician. I play the guitar and enjoy writing my own songs in my free time. It's a great way for me to unwind and express myself creatively.
Reporter: That's fascinating! Thank you for sharing that with us, Riki. We wish you a speedy recovery and all the best for the rest of the season.
Riki Matsuda: Thank you, it's been a pleasure.
