Exclusive Interview with Sycamore FC Midfielder Joon Shim

Reporter: Joon, thank you for taking the time to speak with us today. Let's start off by talking about your recent form on the pitch. You've been exceptional this season, with 2 assists in 13 matches played. How do you feel about your performance so far?

Joon: Thank you for having me. I'm happy with how I've been playing, but I know there's always room for improvement. I've been working on my fitness and trying to be more disciplined in my play, so hopefully, I can contribute more goals as the season goes on.

Reporter: Speaking of fitness, we've heard that you're starting to adopt healthier habits to prolong your career. Can you tell us more about that?

Joon: Yes, as a young player, I wasn't the most health-conscious on the pitch. But I've realized how important it is to take care of my body, especially as I get older. I've been cutting back on fast food and trying to eat a more balanced diet, like keto. It's made a big difference in how I feel and perform on the field.

Reporter: That's great to hear. Now, let's talk about your practice ethics. Some say you're not known for putting in the extra work, but you still manage to excel. How do you balance football with your other interests?

Joon: Football is important to me, but so is having fun and spending time with my family. I wouldn't say I'm lazy, I just have a wide range of interests outside of the game. I believe it's important to have a life outside of football to stay motivated and happy.

Reporter: That's a refreshing perspective. Lastly, can you tell us about your favorite club to play against and your favorite formation?

Joon: My favorite club to play against is SLB, and my favorite formation is 4-2-3-1. I like to play a neutral style, adapting to the game as it unfolds. It keeps things interesting and allows me to showcase my skills in different ways.

Reporter: Thank you for sharing with us, Joon. We wish you all the best for the rest of the season.

Joon: Thank you, it was my pleasure.
