Exclusive Interview with The Gymnastic Society's Midfielder Irna Mita

Reporter: Thank you for taking the time to sit down with us, Irna. Let's start with your recent form on the pitch. You've been exceptional this season, but you haven't scored any goals or provided any assists. Do you feel pressure to contribute more offensively?

Irna: Not at all. I believe my role on the team is more about controlling the midfield and distributing the ball. Scoring goals and providing assists are bonuses, but my main focus is on helping the team maintain possession and creating opportunities for my teammates.

Reporter: You've been described as an experienced player with exceptional skills. How do you maintain your high level of performance on the pitch?

Irna: I think it's a combination of natural talent and hard work. I may not be the hardest worker on the team, but I always make sure to put in the necessary work to meet the expectations of the club. And of course, I always try to have fun while playing, it's important to enjoy the game.

Reporter: Your healthiness has been a topic of discussion, with reports of partying before important matches and playing through injuries. How do you manage to perform at such a high level despite these challenges?

Irna: (laughs) My body is definitely not a temple, that's for sure. But I believe in pushing through the pain and giving my all for the team. I know I won't age well, but for now, I'm focused on helping The Gymnastic Society climb up the rankings.

Reporter: Speaking of rankings, your team is currently 8th out of 10 teams. What do you think needs to change for The Gymnastic Society to improve their position?

Irna: We need to work on our consistency and focus on executing our game plan. I believe we have the potential to do better, we just need to put it all together on the pitch.

Reporter: And finally, can you share a random interesting fact about your life outside of football?

Irna: Well, not many people know this, but I'm actually a talented musician. I love to play the guitar in my free time and it's a great way for me to relax and unwind.

Reporter: That's fascinating, Irna. Thank you for sharing that with us and best of luck to you and The Gymnastic Society for the rest of the season.

Irna: Thank you, it was my pleasure.
