Exclusive Interview with Valparaiso Mariners AC Defender Ares Panos

Reporter: Ares, thank you for taking the time to sit down with us for this exclusive interview. Let's start by discussing your recent form on the field. You've been exceptional this season, playing 13 matches and maintaining a high level of performance. What do you attribute this success to?

Ares: Thank you for having me. I believe my exceptional form this season is a result of my unwavering dedication to my craft. I have sacrificed everything in pursuit of becoming the best footballer I can be. I live and breathe the game, constantly striving to improve and push myself to new heights.

Reporter: It's clear that your work ethic and commitment to your health have played a significant role in your success. How do you balance this intense focus on your career with the rest of your life?

Ares: To be honest, football is my life. I have no friends, no hobbies, no distractions. My only goal is to thrive as a footballer, and I will do whatever it takes to achieve that. I prioritize my health above all else, turning down late nights and other temptations in order to ensure I have a long and successful career.

Reporter: Your favorite club to play against is GIZ. Can you tell us what makes those matches so special for you?

Ares: Playing against GIZ is always a challenge, and I thrive in those high-pressure situations. Their attacking style forces me to be on top of my game defensively, and I enjoy the intensity of those matches.

Reporter: Lastly, can you share a random interesting fact about your life off the field?

Ares: Well, despite my intense focus on football, I do have a soft spot for baking. I find it relaxing to spend my rare free time in the kitchen, experimenting with different recipes and techniques. It's a bit of a hidden talent of mine that not many people know about.

Reporter: Thank you for sharing that with us, Ares. It's been a pleasure speaking with you. Best of luck with the rest of the season.

Ares: Thank you, I appreciate it.
