Exclusive Interview with Valparaiso Mariners AC Defender Jamel Oday

Reporter: Hello Jamel, thank you for taking the time to sit down with us today. Let's start off by talking about your current club, Valparaiso Mariners AC. How are you feeling about the upcoming season?

Jamel Oday: I'm excited for the season to start. I've been working hard in training and I can't wait to get out on the pitch with my teammates.

Reporter: You haven't played any matches this season yet. Can you tell us why that is?

Jamel Oday: Unfortunately, I picked up a little knock in training, but I should be back in action soon. I'm just focusing on getting back to full fitness and helping the team.

Reporter: Your recent form has been exceptional, despite not playing any matches. How do you manage to stay in top shape?

Jamel Oday: I try to take care of my body as best as I can. I know I may not be the healthiest player out there, but I make sure to work hard in training and give my all on the pitch.

Reporter: It's been said that you have a wide range of interests outside of football. Can you tell us a little bit about that?

Jamel Oday: Yes, football is important to me, but so is having fun and spending time with my family. I believe in finding a balance in life and enjoying everything that comes my way.

Reporter: Lastly, can you share with us your favorite club to play against and your favorite formation and play style?

Jamel Oday: I always look forward to playing against ROY. They bring out the best in me. My favorite formation is 4-3-3 and I love defending and keeping clean sheets.
