Exclusive Interview with Valparaiso Mariners AC Defender Ji Seong

Reporter: Good afternoon Ji Seong, thank you for taking the time to speak with us today. Let's start off by talking about your current club, Valparaiso Mariners AC. How do you feel about the team's performance so far this season?

Ji Seong: Thank you for having me. I think we've been doing quite well this season. We're currently ranked 3rd out of 10 teams, and I'm proud of the effort the team has put in. Our recent form has been exceptional, and I believe we have a good chance of finishing strong.

Reporter: You've been known for your exceptional defending skills on the field. Can you tell us a bit about your favorite play style and formation?

Ji Seong: I've always been a fan of the 4-4-2 formation, as it allows for a solid defensive structure while still providing some attacking options. My favorite play style is definitely defending. I take pride in shutting down opponents and protecting the goal at all costs.

Reporter: It's impressive to hear about your dedication to defending. Can you share with us a random interesting fact about your life outside of football?

Ji Seong: Well, something that not many people know about me is that I have a passion for cooking. Whenever I have some free time, I like to experiment in the kitchen and try out new recipes. It's a great way for me to relax and unwind after a tough match.

Reporter: That's a great hobby to have outside of football. Lastly, how do you see your future in the sport, considering your age and the wear and tear on your body?

Ji Seong: I know that I may not have many years left in my career, but I plan to make the most of every opportunity I have on the field. I may not be the hardest worker, but I always give my best during matches. As for my body, well, let's just say that it has seen better days. But I'll continue to push through and give my all for my team.
