Exclusive Interview with Valparaiso Mariners AC Defender Nadya Sisca

Reporter: Thank you for taking the time to speak with us, Nadya. Let's start by discussing your recent form with Valparaiso Mariners AC. How do you feel you have been performing this season?
Nadya: It's been a bit of a mixed bag, to be honest. I think I have shown flashes of my exceptional skills, but there have also been moments where I could have done better. Overall, I would say my performance has been average.
Reporter: Your practice ethics have been a topic of discussion among fans and pundits. How do you respond to the criticism that you are not the hardest worker on the team?
Nadya: I understand where the criticism is coming from, but I believe I put in the work required to meet the expectations of the club. I may not be the hardest worker, but I certainly am not the worst either. I always make sure to give my best on the field.
Reporter: You have a reputation for being a bit of a risk-taker when it comes to your health, often playing through injuries and concussions. How do you manage to stay on the pitch despite these risks?
Nadya: (laughs) I guess you could say my body is more of a ruin than a temple. I have always been willing to push through pain and injuries to help my team. It's just part of the game for me.
Reporter: One last question, Nadya. What is your favorite club to play against and why?
Nadya: Definitely BDB. The rivalry between our clubs always brings out the best in me, and I love the intensity of those matches.
Reporter: Thank you for your time, Nadya. Best of luck for the rest of the season with Valparaiso Mariners AC.
Nadya: Thank you. It's been a pleasure. Oh, and one interesting fact about my life - I have a pet turtle named Speedy who always brings me good luck on match days.
