Exclusive Interview with Valparaiso Mariners AC Defender Sujin Kim

Reporter: Sujin, thank you for taking the time to speak with us. Let's start off by talking about your current club, Valparaiso Mariners AC. How do you feel about the team's performance so far this season?

Sujin Kim: I am extremely proud of my teammates and the hard work we have put in to maintain our position at the top of the league. Our recent form has been exceptional, and I believe we have a great chance of lifting the trophy at the end of the season.

Reporter: You have been known for your exceptional skills as a defender. Can you tell us more about your favorite play style and formation?

Sujin Kim: I prefer a 4-4-2 formation, and my favorite play style is defending. I take great pride in keeping clean sheets and preventing goals, as it is crucial for the success of the team.

Reporter: We have heard that you have a very intense practice ethic, with no time for friends or fun. Can you elaborate on how you maintain such dedication to your craft?

Sujin Kim: Football is my life, and I am willing to do whatever it takes to improve as a player. I spend every waking moment working on my skills and fitness, even if it means sacrificing personal relationships and leisure activities. My only goal in life is to thrive as a footballer.

Reporter: Despite your dedication, there have been concerns about your healthiness, with reports of partying before important matches and playing through injuries. How do you respond to these criticisms?

Sujin Kim: I have been through a lot in my career, but I do whatever it takes to help my team win. I am willing to push my body to the limit, even if it means taking risks. I may not age well, but I will continue to give my all on the pitch.

Reporter: Before we wrap up, can you share a random interesting fact about your life outside of football?

Sujin Kim: Despite my intense focus on football, I am actually an avid cook in my spare time. I find it to be a great way to relax and unwind after a tough day of training.

Reporter: Thank you for sharing that, Sujin. We wish you and Valparaiso Mariners AC the best of luck for the rest of the season.

Sujin Kim: Thank you, it was a pleasure speaking with you.
