Exclusive Interview with Valparaiso Mariners AC Defender Yujin Yim

Reporter: Yujin Yim, thank you for taking the time to sit down with us today. Let's start by talking about your current club, Valparaiso Mariners AC. What do you like most about playing for them?

Yujin Yim: I really appreciate the investment they make in team chemistry and culture. It's important to me that the players and staff have a strong bond both on and off the pitch.

Reporter: Your recent form hasn't been the best, with only 11 matches played this season. What do you think has been the contributing factor to this?

Yujin Yim: I think my age and experience are catching up with me. I've realized that I need to take better care of my health if I want to prolong my career. I've been working on adopting healthier habits, like cutting back on fast food and following a keto diet.

Reporter: It's great to hear that you're taking steps to improve your health. What are your thoughts on the current team ranking of 4th out of 10 teams?

Yujin Yim: I think we have the potential to do better. We need to work on our defense and tighten up our gameplay. As a defender, I take responsibility for the 5 goals conceded this season and will do everything in my power to improve.

Reporter: What is your favorite formation and play style to play in?

Yujin Yim: I prefer a 4-5-1 formation and a neutral play style. I like to adapt to the situation on the field and do whatever is necessary to help the team succeed.

Reporter: Finally, can you share a random interesting fact about your life with our readers?

Yujin Yim: Despite my dedication to football, I do have a soft spot for animals. I volunteer at a local animal shelter in my free time and have even adopted a rescue dog named Luna. She's my constant companion and brings me a lot of joy outside of the game.

Reporter: Thank you for sharing that with us, Yujin Yim. We wish you a speedy recovery from your injury and continued success with Valparaiso Mariners AC.

Yujin Yim: Thank you for the well wishes. I look forward to getting back on the pitch and giving my all for the team.
