Exclusive Interview with Valparaiso Mariners AC Forward Anastasia Karras
Interviewer: Thank you for taking the time to speak with us, Anastasia. Let's start with your current season. You've played in four matches so far but have yet to score a goal. How do you feel about your performance?
Anastasia: Honestly, I'm just happy to be out there on the pitch and contributing to the team in any way I can. Scoring goals is important, of course, but I'm more focused on helping the team win games.
Interviewer: Your favorite club to play against is RAI. What is it about that match-up that gets you excited?
Anastasia: RAI has always been a tough opponent for us, and I love the challenge they bring to the table. It's always a competitive and intense game, and I thrive in those kinds of situations.
Interviewer: Your coach has praised your work ethic. How do you balance being serious about your career with knowing when to let loose?
Anastasia: It's all about finding that balance. I know when to put in the work and focus on improving my game, but I also understand the importance of taking time to relax and enjoy life off the pitch. It's all about finding that harmony.
Interviewer: You've had your fair share of injuries and concussions throughout your career. How do you manage to keep playing at a high level despite these challenges?
Anastasia: I've always been a fighter, both on and off the pitch. I don't let injuries or setbacks define me, and I push through the pain to continue doing what I love. It's all part of the game.
Interviewer: Lastly, can you share a random interesting fact about your life with our readers?
Anastasia: Well, not many people know this, but I actually have a twin sister who used to play professional football as well. We were quite the dynamic duo on the pitch back in the day.
Interviewer: Thank you for sharing that with us, Anastasia. We wish you all the best for the rest of the season with Valparaiso Mariners AC.
Anastasia: Thank you for having me. I'll do my best to help the team secure that championship title.
