Exclusive Interview with Valparaiso Mariners AC Forward Gina Soriano
Reporter: Gina Soriano, thank you for taking the time to speak with us. You've had an exceptional start to the season in terms of form, but have yet to get on the scoresheet. How do you plan on changing that?
Soriano: Thank you for having me. Scoring goals is definitely a priority for me, but I believe in the team's overall success more than personal accolades. I'll keep working hard and hopefully the goals will come.
Reporter: You mentioned that you value team chemistry and culture in a club. How important is that to you in terms of success on the pitch?
Soriano: Team chemistry is everything. A team that plays together as a unit will always be stronger than a group of individuals. I believe in investing time in building relationships with my teammates both on and off the pitch.
Reporter: You have a reputation for your exceptional skill and work ethic. Can you tell us more about your practice routine and dedication to the sport?
Soriano: My dedication to football is unwavering. I spend countless hours on the training ground working on my game, always striving to improve. Football is my passion, my life, and I will do whatever it takes to succeed.
Reporter: It's clear that football is your priority, but do you have any interests outside of the sport?
Soriano: Football is my main focus, but I do enjoy staying healthy and active. I make sure to maintain a balanced lifestyle with healthy habits. It's important to take care of my body in order to perform at my best on the pitch.
Reporter: Lastly, can you share with us a random interesting fact about your life that fans may not know?
Soriano: Well, despite my intense dedication to football, I actually have a soft spot for animals. I volunteer at a local animal shelter in my free time, helping to care for and find homes for stray pets.
