Exclusive Interview with Valparaiso Mariners AC Midfielder Jihoo Suk

Reporter: Jihoo, thank you for taking the time to sit down with us today. Let's start off by discussing your recent form on the pitch. You've been having an exceptional season so far, with 2 goals and 3 assists in 13 matches. What do you attribute this success to?
Jihoo Suk: Thank you for having me. I think it's a combination of hard work and talent. I may not be the hardest worker on the team, but I always make sure to put in the necessary effort to meet the expectations of the club. And when I'm out on the field, I just let my skills do the talking.
Reporter: Speaking of hard work, how would you describe your practice ethics?
Jihoo Suk: I would say I'm not the hardest worker, but I'm definitely not the worst either. I put in the work required to stay in shape and perform well on the field. But I also believe in having fun and enjoying life outside of football. Balance is key for me.
Reporter: It's interesting to hear that perspective. Now, let's talk about your healthiness. You've been known to power through injuries and concussions. How do you manage to stay on the pitch despite these challenges?
Jihoo Suk: Well, I've always been a bit of a risk-taker when it comes to my health. I've partied all night before a cup final, and I've played through some pretty serious injuries. I guess you could say my body is more of a ruin than a temple. But as long as I can still contribute to the team, I'll keep pushing myself.
Reporter: That's quite the mindset you have. Finally, can you tell us about your favorite club to play against and your favorite formation and play style?
Jihoo Suk: My favorite club to play against has to be FLC. They always bring out the best in me. As for formation, I love playing in a 4-2-3-1 setup, with a focus on defending. I feel most comfortable and effective in that role.
Reporter: Thank you for sharing all of that with us, Jihoo. Before we wrap up, can you give us a random interesting fact about your life?
Jihoo Suk: Sure, here's one for you - I have a pet parrot named Messi, after my favorite football player. He's a real chatterbox and keeps me company at home.
Reporter: That's adorable. Thank you for the interview, Jihoo. We look forward to seeing more of your exceptional performance on the pitch.
Jihoo Suk: Thank you, it was my pleasure.
