Exclusive Interview with Valparaiso Mariners AC Midfielder Mateusz Bodan

Reporter: Mateusz, thank you for taking the time to speak with us today. Let's start off by talking about your recent form. You've been in exceptional form this season, with one goal and one assist in eight matches. How do you feel about your performances so far?
Mateusz: Thank you for having me. I'm definitely pleased with how I've been playing lately. I think I've been able to contribute to the team in a positive way and I hope to continue doing so as the season progresses.
Reporter: You've been described as an experienced player despite your young age. How do you think your lifestage has influenced your performance on the field?
Mateusz: I think my experience has definitely helped me make better decisions on the field. I've learned a lot from playing with older, more experienced players and I try to apply that knowledge in my game.
Reporter: Speaking of your game, what is your favorite formation and play style to play in?
Mateusz: I really enjoy playing in a 4-3-3 formation. It gives me the freedom to make runs forward and contribute to both attacking and defensive plays. As for my play style, I would say it's more neutral. I like to be versatile and adapt to different situations on the field.
Reporter: Finally, can you tell us a random interesting fact about your life off the pitch?
Mateusz: Well, I actually used to be a competitive swimmer before I decided to focus on football. Swimming taught me discipline and perseverance, which I think has helped me in my football career.
Reporter: That's fascinating! Thank you for sharing that with us, Mateusz. We wish you the best of luck for the rest of the season.
Mateusz: Thank you, it was my pleasure.
