Exclusive Interview with Valparaiso Mariners AC Midfielder Willy Richard

Reporter: Good afternoon, Willy. Thank you for taking the time to speak with us today. Let's start off by talking about your current form. You've been exceptional on the pitch this season, with 13 assists to your name. How do you manage to perform so well despite your reputation for not putting in the extra work?

Willy Richard: Well, I think it's all about finding the right balance. Football is important to me, but so is enjoying life and spending time with my loved ones. I may not be the hardest worker on the training ground, but I always give my best during matches.

Reporter: You have a reputation for being a bit of a party animal and not taking the best care of your body. How do you think this will affect you as you get older?

Willy Richard: I've always been someone who lives in the moment. I don't worry too much about the future. I believe that as long as I continue to play with passion and dedication, I'll be able to overcome any physical challenges that come my way.

Reporter: Your favorite club to play against is SLB. What is it about facing them that gets you so fired up?

Willy Richard: SLB is a top team with a lot of history. Playing against them always brings out the best in me. I love the challenge of going up against such talented opponents.

Reporter: Lastly, can you share a random interesting fact about your life with our readers?

Willy Richard: Sure! Not many people know this, but I am also a talented musician. I love playing the guitar in my spare time and have even written a few songs. It's another passion of mine outside of football.

Reporter: Thank you for sharing that with us, Willy. We wish you continued success on and off the pitch!

Willy Richard: Thank you for having me. It's been a pleasure.
