Exclusive Interview with Valparaiso Mariners AC's Young Star, Gertrude Walter
Reporter: Gertrude, thank you for taking the time to sit down with us for this interview. How are you feeling about your recent form and performance on the field?
Gertrude: Thank you for having me. I'm feeling really good about how I've been playing recently. I've been able to contribute both offensively and defensively to the team, and I'm happy with the goals and assists I've been able to provide.
Reporter: You've been known for your exceptional skills on the field. What do you attribute your success to?
Gertrude: I think it's a combination of hard work and natural talent. I may not be the hardest worker out there, but I always make sure to put in the effort to meet the expectations of the club. And of course, I always make sure to have fun while doing it.
Reporter: You mentioned having fun while playing. What is your favorite part about being on the field?
Gertrude: I love the thrill of defending. Being able to stop the opposition and help my team maintain possession is something that really excites me.
Reporter: You've scored 5 goals and provided 6 assists this season. What are your goals for the rest of the season?
Gertrude: I want to continue to improve and help my team climb up the rankings. I'll keep working hard and hopefully contribute even more to our success.
Reporter: And finally, can you share a random interesting fact about your life off the field?
Gertrude: Well, I'm actually a huge fan of painting. Whenever I have some free time, you can find me with a paintbrush in hand, creating some artwork.
