Yasir Awad: Thank you for having me. Well, I have always been drawn to clubs that have a relentless desire to win. I enjoy the thrill of competition and being part of a team that is willing to do whatever it takes to come out on top. It's that winning mentality that drives me.
Interviewer: That's certainly an admirable quality. Speaking of your current club, Sycamore FC, how would you assess your recent form and the team's performance?
Yasir Awad: Personally, I believe my recent form has been exceptional. I've been giving my all on the field and contributing to the team's defensive efforts. As for Sycamore FC, we've had a decent start to the season, currently standing at 7th out of 10 teams. We've conceded five goals so far, but we're determined to improve and climb up the rankings.
Interviewer: It's great to hear about your dedication. Now, let's talk about your practice ethics. Some people label you as lazy, but others argue that you simply have a wide range of interests. Can you shed some light on this?
Yasir Awad: Football is undoubtedly important to me, but I also prioritize spending time with my family and having fun. I wouldn't necessarily consider myself lazy, but rather someone who knows how to find a balance. While I may not always put in extra work, I still give my best during training sessions and matches.
Interviewer: That's a refreshing perspective. Moving on, your health has been a talking point throughout your career. How do you manage to perform at such a high level despite partying before important matches and dealing with various injuries?
Yasir Awad: (Laughs) I've always had a different approach to my physical well-being. My body is more of a ruin than a temple, as some would say. But somehow, I've managed to power through injuries, concussions, and even the occasional night out before a crucial game. I guess I have a certain resilience that keeps me going.
Interviewer: Impressive, indeed. Lastly, before we conclude, could you share an interesting fact about your life that fans may not know?
Yasir Awad: Well, here's a random one for you. My favorite club to play against is BDB. There's something about the challenge they pose that brings out the best in me. Whenever we face off, it's always an intense battle on the field.
