Interview with Alberta SC's Exceptional Goalkeeper Seri Piao
Reporter: Congratulations on your exceptional form this season, Seri. What do you attribute your success to?
Seri Piao: Thank you. I think it's a combination of my own hard work and the support of my teammates. We have a great defensive structure and I feel very confident in my abilities.
Reporter: You mentioned your hard work. Can you tell us a bit about your practice ethics?
Seri Piao: I wouldn't say I'm the hardest worker, but I definitely put in the work. I try to balance my training with rest and relaxation. I think it's important to enjoy the experience, but also to meet the expectations of the club.
Reporter: You seem to enjoy defending. Is that your favorite play style?
Seri Piao: Yes, definitely. I love the challenge of keeping a clean sheet and helping my team win. Of course, it's also important to be able to contribute to the attack when needed, but defending is my passion.
Reporter: Your favorite club to play against is BDB. Why is that?
Seri Piao: They always bring their best game, and that motivates us to do the same. It's a great rivalry and always makes for an exciting match.
Reporter: What do you look for in a club?
Seri Piao: I really value clubs that invest in player development. It's important to have a strong foundation and to be able to grow and learn as a player.
Reporter: What about your health? Do you take good care of yourself?
Seri Piao: (Laughs) I've definitely had my fair share of injuries and concussions, but I've always been able to power through them. My body is more of a ruin than a temple, but I wouldn't have it any other way.
Reporter: Can you give us a random interesting fact about your life?
Seri Piao: Well, I actually started playing football because of my grandmother. She was a huge fan and always encouraged me to pursue my passion. I owe a lot to her.
